Handbook
As requested by our partnerprovince, we have developed the "Guide for Guiders". In 2005, 1000 copies were printed and distributed. Another 1000 copies followed in March of 2006. Contents
The handbook is divided into 6 chapters: 1. A year in The Netherlands 2. Scouting in The 3. How to develop a programme 4. How to explain games 5. Games (total of 58) 6. Scouting skills (knots, communication, secret codes, hike techniques, tents and shelters, cooking, swimming en creative techniques
Thank you! Rosemary Swemmer, national director of the South African Girl Guide Association, told us in March 2006 that the handbooks were handed out at the National Council.
